TwoTrees provided their top end model – the TTC450 Ultra – to Wilsobotics, in order to enable the production of high-quality, and meticulously designed components for the First Tech Challenge. Whilst components were not created using the donated machine for the initial robot showcased at the Scrimmage (kindly hosted by the Langley Park School for Boys), Wilsobotics was proud to display TwoTrees’ logo on the flanks of the parallel plate drivetrain.
“We are extremely grateful for TwoTrees’ sponsorship, as access to a CNC machine is a first for our school – and will surely grant as an advantage over other teams. TwoTrees joins a growing list of sponsors who allow us to realise our designs, increase our competitiveness, and foster our interests in robotics.”, says Team Lead Burak.
“For the 2nd version of our robot for this season, we expect to make heavy use of the TTC450 Ultra – keep an eye on the Instagram to see designs, their physical counterparts, and the completed 2nd version of the robot. The capability to use both wood, and aluminium, will allow us to make a functional, and aesthetically pleasing robot. Whilst we have not formally announced this elsewhere, we’ve consulted design experts this year to help create a more pleasing robot – one shouldn’t expect mismatched colours or unpleasent cable management from us this year.”
